But even if that hadn't happened, I would STILL run away screaming from this thing:
The Jellyfish Dildo

Yes, jellyfish are pretty: despite my traumatic incident, I too love to "ooh and aahh" over the LED-backlit jellyfish displays at the aquarium.
But at what point does "That's so ethereal and delicate!" translate into "Hey, let's turn it into a rubber dick and cram it up my dirty tunnel!"
It's just so....
VEINY.
Not to mention the whole anaphylactic shock thing - I think this is taking e-stim toys just a bit too far in terms of realism.
(The toy itself is mere harmless silicone, but can you imagine if it actually delivered electric shockwaves? Actually, that would be kinda cool...but cool in an abstract way, not in a "Hey, let's bust out the lube and pop a squat on this bad boy!" way, you know?)
Anyway! It actually gets worse:
Poured in beautiful pearlescent shades of pink and blue, turn out the lights and this sex toy will glow a soft green.
OK, so we have an extra veiny big blue dick that glows GREEN in the dark, and resembles a sea creature that tried to kill me in my formative years.
Just...NO.

I've gotta disagree with you on the 'veiny', that looks kinda nice to me, but yeah, glowing green? Just no...
ReplyDeleteNot horrifying at all. Green glow is a little quirky, yes - but not "WTF" or shocking in any way. If I had a budget for such things, I would consider buying such a product. Green glow and all.
ReplyDeleteI recoiled at first glance, but I wouldn't mind playing with this toy. The green glow is quirky unique, but is it safe? This coming from a woman who owns glow-in-the-dark bubble bath.
ReplyDeletePS: I'm reviewing this shocking toy next week on my site: http://www.edenfantasys.com/vibrators/traditional-vibrators/sextreme-electro-vibe
Leaving aside the fact that the people who make these are very good friends of mine, I have to say that the Jellyfish is one of the most amazing dildos I've ever used. Because Whipspider uses Platinum-grade silicone (basically 1/2 a step below medical grade) the soft yet firm feel is very much like a real penis, plus the tentacles give a really nice sensation . And to answer The Beautiful Kind's question, yes the glow-in-the-dark is perfectly safe, since they did a huge amount of research into materials before they started manufacturing and only use the highest quality, safest ingredients.
ReplyDeleteThough I must admit, my favorite model is The Tentacle for a variety of reasons. www.whipspiderrubberworks.com
