Don't panic - 代 is the counter for decades of ages. So 10代 just means teenage, not 10 years old.

You could retool this blog to be Scary Sex Toy (from anywhere in the world that's NOT Japan) Friday, and devote the other six days solely to the homegrown WTF-ery that they have here.
